Q. Where can I find a quiet place to study in the library?

Answer

We don't have silent places, but we do have several areas that are usually quiet:

  • Floor 3--small tables and study spots on the outskirts of the book stacks.
  • Floors 2M and 1M--study desks against the east wall in the book/journal stacks.
  • You can reserve a study room--they may not block out all noise but do cut down on distractions.

Areas by staff offices, help desks, hallways and group study tend to have "conversational" noise levels. If you are concerned about noise, please let us know.
